The Story

Mike and Brittney were a young couple who should have had their whole lives ahead of them. Instead, their lives were stolen in a senseless act of violence in Westbrook, leaving behind devastated parents, siblings, and friends.

Their loss is more than a headline, it’s a heartbreak that continues every day for those who loved them. As the sentencing approaches, this is our chance to stand together and make sure their voices are not forgotten.

"We're wrecked," Jeff McKinney, Cockrell's father, said. "You sleep sometimes. You wake up most of the time after a couple of hours. It's as bad as you can imagine."

Why We Must Speak Out

The sentencing is our chance to demand accountability and honor Mike and Brittney’s lives. Together, we can send a clear message: justice must be served, and it must be served now.

Join us in demanding accountability by sharing their story, speaking up, and standing with their family. Together, we can make sure justice is not just promised, but delivered.
